Grants for 100% philanthropic initiatives aligned with our areas of focus.
Stryker supports 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) non-profit organizations' initiatives. Requests must be 100 percent philanthropic in nature and relate to Stryker Neurovascular’s areas of focus.

How to Apply Online

Medical education grants
Grants for training hospitals, medical universities, professional associations, and medical education communication companies providing qualified medical education.
To be considered, programs must be:
- Independently developed and conducted by a qualified medical education provider, e.g., training hospitals, medical universities, professional associations, medical education communication companies.
- Objective and balanced.
- Delivery formats may include: live symposia, hands on activities, enduring materials, web-based learning or grand rounds.

Research grants
Grants to support research initiated and managed by an external party.
Stryker’s Neurovascular division is committed to the advancement of stroke care through the Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) program. A research grant is a donation to support research initiated and managed by an external party, also referred to as an investigator-initiated study. All submissions will be reviewed based on scientific rigor, patient safety, strategic alignment, and fair market value.
A research grant can take the form of:
- Financial support
- In-kind support
Stryker supports the following types of requests:
- Clinical trials involving humans
- Pre-clinical studies
- Non-human subject research
- Product only requests
- Specific requests for partial research support (e.g. statistical support, medical writing, manuscript support, SNV data)
How to apply online
For requests originating in US, Canada, Europe, and Australia, please submit your request in English via our online Research Grant Portal and select "register for access". For all other countries, please submit your request via email to snvmedicalaffairs@stryker.com
To complete your request, please be prepared with the following documents:
- Concept or full protocol (A full protocol is not required for initial review. Requirements for each are listed here)
- Current CV
- Overall or detailed budget
